That which is measured is improved.

Absolutely true. And Karl Pearson was spot on when he added to it with his version: That which is measured improves. That which is measured and reported improves exponentially.

In managing a superior operation, everything vital to your definition of a successful year should be measured, discussed, and posted. This can be new business sales, it can be retention figures, it can be the number of policies per client. Agency management systems can provide the details, but it is up to leadership to talk about them.

Communication of the results from leadership to the entire team is often a missed step and, thus, a missed opportunity to improve. Random charts on the wall in the lunch room will not have as much impact on results as when the leader talks with the team about those results (good and bad), lets everyone know why those particular items are being tracked, clarifies the goals and then post them on the wall for all to review.

The team at Endurance has been working with teams on improving through measuring, communicating, and posting results for over 30 years. Let’s take 30 minutes and talk about your specific plan and what should be measured, communicated, and reported within your agency.

The team at Endurance has spent over 35 years helping organizations grow, learn, implement new ideas, and provide a safe environment that fosters open communication. Here is where an outside perspective can help your team become aware of any obstructions to change and implement improvements. Let’s take some time to talk about your team and your training environment.

Let’s take 30 minutes to see how we can help.
