The four “A’s”

The four “A’s”
(nope, not a singing group.)

Awareness, Analysis, Action, and Achievement. Someone identified these as the essential phases of intelligent leadership. I read that and thought they also provided a solid foundation for continuous improvement. Teams can follow this path as they work through the strategic planning process.

Awareness: Who are we, and how do others see us?

Analysis: How are we doing, what needs to be improved, and what are our goals?

Action: Implementation of your path to your goals.

Achievement: Hitting the goals, acknowledgment, and celebration.

And (this will only make sense to some): Rinse and Repeat.
